Our focus is to improve the level of volleyball in Fennimore, Prairie du Chien and the surrounding area. We will do this with well-organized coaches stressing the importance of fundamental skills while teaching athletes to push themselves to their highest level. We focus on training all athletes in the fundamental skills of the game and have more than 17 years of training athletes in a club setting. We have multiple programs to meet the time commitment and financial commitment of athletes who want to participate.
Ruth Leitzke has been coaching volleyball for about 30 years. She has coached many levels and many types of volleyball. She is credited with the growth of Wisconsin PoWer VBC over the past 18 years. Letizke is all about sharing her love of the game of volleyball with as many athletes as possible! Her competetive nature and love of the game helped her lead Hustisford Volleyball to 4 state tournament appearances and one title. She has helped a long long list of athletes get recruited to a college to play volleyball and is thrilled that many of them have returned in recent years to give back and coach within our club!contact learn more
In the 2014 club season, Leitzke put Linda Redman at the head of the Top Tier program and they have seen major growth since then. This year, Wisconsin PoWer / Fusào alumna Jerica Nelson will assist Redman. Redman has been with Top Tier / Wisconsin PoWer for 6 years and is the head coach at Prairie Du Chien. Nelson played college volleyball at Viterbo, where she started her coaching career with Wisconsin PoWer and will begin her 3rd season with Top Tier / Wisconsin PoWer. She is also the head coach at Fennimore High School.
In addition to Redman and Nelson, Top Tier has other area high school coaches, former college players and pure volleyball enthusiasts on staff. All of our coaches are Impact and Safe Sport certified and are trained by Ruth Leitzke and Linda Redman.
